Spring Cleaning- Gadgets you should get rid of(or not)

Right off the bat this article reminds me of the newest Best Buy commercial, because being the tech savy, somewhat greedy human beings that most if not all of us are we want the newest things. Anyway this article is not what I thought it would be. To be completely honest I though it was a guide not only of what you should get rid of but what you shouldreplace. Big whoop I geuss, I don't see the point of getting rid of anything, it will eventually come back to popularity, that holds true to clothes I'm sure the same will hold true for technology.

The things you should supposedly get rid of are:
  • Your Desktop Computer
  • Cable TV(maybe)
  • Point and Shoot Camera (which only applies to certain people)
  • Camcorder(same as point and shoot)
  • USB Thumb Drive(totally disagree)
  • Digital Music Player(why? I will never understand why you should get rid of this.)
    • The reasoning is that you can use your smart phone for the same use. However in my experience smart phones are not as sturdy as I-pod( case and point my ipod touch vs. my dads smart phone. He's had to replace it twice. I still have the same ipod not matter how many times I dropped it)
  • GPS
So if you crace popularity go ahead and through all those things away. I guess. Like I said I don't see the point of getting rid of anything. It will be retro and popular soon enough.

Other things on the list. The things you should keep are:
  • High speed internet
  • Cable Tv(again a maybe)
  • Alarm Clock(at least based onthe glitch the I-phone has with daylight saving time)
  • Books(very shocking)
    • Like I said very shocking with all the e books and other technological things out now. But hey books will always be popular with me.
